"Be The Man" Named Innovative Initiative by Men and Masculinities Knowledge Community
Founder and CEO of ForCollegeForLife, Casey J. Cornelius, was honored with the Innovative Initiative Award by the Men and Masculinities Knowledge Community at the NASPA 2019 Annual Conference in Los Angeles, CA.
NASPA, the leading association for the advancement, health, and sustainability of the student affairs profession, has a principle mission to be the source of leadership, scholarship, professional development and advocacy for professionals. Their Knowledge Communities (KC) work to provide access to information and resources in a particular subject area by connecting members and facilitating the sharing of knowledge.
"When I began to deliver programs on healthy masculinity, I couldn't have imagined this recognition," Cornelius reflected. "My goal was, and is, to help college men understand the foundations of masculinity and its performance along with proposing a healthier alternative to many of the behaviors we recognize as harmful. To earn the respect of my professional peers is one of the greatest compliments I can imagine."
